What Autism Support Looks Like at N.E.S.T
N.E.S.T is an autism center and school in Islamabad, not just a therapy clinic that sees a child for one hour and sends them home. Most children on the spectrum here combine three things under one roof: ABA therapy for behavior and skill-building, special education for individualized academic learning in a small classroom, and speech therapy for communication. Where sensory or motor needs are also present, occupational therapy is added too. Our ABA therapy is delivered by IBA-certified (International Behavior Analyst) therapists who build an individualized behavior plan for each child and work closely with families so the same strategies are used consistently at home.
What Happens at Your First Autism Assessment
An assessment is offered as part of enrollment, not as a separate, drawn-out process. Our team spends time observing how your child communicates, plays and responds in different situations, then gives honest guidance on which combination of ABA, special education and speech therapy would help most, along with a suggested weekly plan. There is no pressure to commit to everything at once. Many families start with two or three sessions a week and adjust as they see how their child settles in and responds.
A Typical Week Combining Therapies
Because ABA, classroom time and speech therapy happen at the same center, our team coordinates goals across all three instead of leaving parents to manage separate providers. A child might work on following instructions and turn-taking in ABA, practice the same skills in a small-group classroom setting, and build the words and gestures to express them in speech therapy, all in the same week, with the same team tracking progress. Parents receive regular updates so you always know what is working and what comes next.

Support From Early Diagnosis Through the Teenage Years
N.E.S.T welcomes children and young people from ages 2 to 20, so support does not stop once a child ages out of early intervention. Toddlers newly diagnosed can begin with play-based ABA and speech foundations, while older students continue building academic, communication and independence skills through our station-based learning program in the special education classroom.
